Overview
AI API Cost Calculator is designed to run primarily in your browser. We do not operate sign-in, accounts, or a database for your prompts on this site.
Prompts and text
In Fast mode, token and cost math for the comparison table runs in your browser only.
If you enable Accurate token mode, your pasted text is sent to this site's server so we can count tokens via provider tokenizer APIs (Anthropic, Google) and local tokenizers (OpenAI-compatible o200k, Llama 3-style). We do not store prompts or counts in a database as part of this feature. Standard hosting logs may still apply.
Do not paste confidential, regulated, or secret material into any third-party website.
Hosting and analytics
The site is hosted on Vercel (or your chosen provider). Standard server logs, CDN logs, and platform analytics may apply. You may use privacy-friendly analytics if you configure them for your deployment.
Advertising
If display ads (for example Google AdSense) are enabled, the ad provider may use cookies or similar technologies subject to their policies and any consent banner you implement for your visitors’ region.
Affiliate links
“Get API Key” links point to provider signup or console pages to help you get started. These may be affiliate or referral URLs where disclosed by the operator of this deployment.
